About
The story and working principles behind Marc Gelpí’s approach to organizational effectiveness.

I began in product and technology, close to the practical work of turning ideas into something useful. Over time, the recurring challenge became clearer: good strategy only matters when an organization can translate it into decisions, ownership, and steady execution.
People-first is an operating principle#
People-first does not mean choosing comfort over performance. It means designing systems where people can use judgment, take ownership, and do durable work without depending on bureaucracy or constant heroics.
My strongest leadership pattern is lateral leadership: earning trust, connecting perspectives, and helping executives and teams move together without relying on positional authority.
Diagnose before prescribing#
I connect strategy, product, technology, and business through evidence-based organizational diagnosis and practical execution. I use Grounded Theory techniques to code qualitative data from interviews, quantify recurring themes, and compare those patterns with operational evidence. The result is a diagnosis grounded in collected data rather than a coach’s first impressions.
Coaching is part of how I build capability and judgment. It is not the offer on its own, and no framework is treated as the product.
Values and CliftonStrengths
Guiding how I work and create impact:
- Always people first
- Transparency & trust by default
- Always believe that we can do things differently
- That everything you do adds value
- Actions speak louder than words
- Always align what I think&feel, what I say and what I do
How those values move
Five recurring strengths shape how I read a system, build trust, and turn insight into practical movement.
Strategic thinking
I spot relevant patterns, compare alternative paths, and choose a practical way forward.
Analytical
I look for reasons, causes, and the factors that can change a situation before drawing conclusions.
Ideation
I connect ideas that may appear unrelated and turn those connections into useful possibilities.
Relationship building
I connect individual talents to collective goals, building trust, autonomy, and sustainable change.
Responsibility
I take ownership for what I commit to and stay with the work until it has genuinely moved forward.
